The knitting process involves manipulating yarn to create textiles or fabrics, commonly used in various types of garments. This method forms multiple loops of yarn, called stitches, in a line or tube, with several active stitches on the needle at any given time.
Knitted fabric is composed of consecutive rows of intermeshing loops. During the process, each new row is created by pulling a newly formed loop through one or more loops from the previous row. The new loops are placed on the receiving needle while the loops from the prior row are released from the other needle.
