Our worth’s

Green Technology & Environment-Friendly Process:

One of the critical challenges today is sustaining the growth of the RMG (Ready-Made Garments) sector while safeguarding natural resources. At Usama Textile Ltd., we are deeply committed to protecting water, air, and the environment for future generations. Sustainability drives every step we take. Our facilities operate Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs) and Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) 24/7 throughout the year, ensuring consistent environmental protection. We are also planning to retain rainwater and recycle sewerage water to maximize water reuse. Additionally, we reuse machine cooling water and steam condensate in the dyeing process as hot water, reducing groundwater extraction and conserving energy.

Sustainability in RMG operations has become a critical focus for Bangladeshi entrepreneurs, especially after incidents like Tazreen and Rana Plaza. As one of the main drivers of Bangladesh’s economy, the RMG industry faces scrutiny from buyers for lacking sustainability initiatives. Environmental sustainability is now a priority for global apparel buyers, who increasingly demand eco-friendly production processes. In response, we are implementing innovative solutions, including rooftop rainwater storage, natural fertilizer production from daily bio-waste, and robust waste management systems.

At Usama Textile Ltd., we embrace our responsibility to lead with innovative solutions that prioritize environmental stewardship. Our Biological Treatment and Energy Conservation program leverages state-of-the-art technology in our ETPs for the biological treatment of waste and comprehensive energy conservation. By integrating quality development tools and advanced techniques, we are committed to driving innovation while protecting the environment.

This initiative channels all recyclable energy back into our systems, making Usama Textile Ltd. an energy-efficient and environmentally conscious organization. We are also in the process of installing a “green building” as our office premises, a crucial component of our “Going Green” approach. This building is designed to optimize resource efficiency, particularly water and energy, while enhancing indoor health and safety. It also minimizes environmental impact and preserves surrounding environmental amenities, aligning with our commitment to sustainable and responsible operations.
